Rebecca is a Senior Architect and Federal Market Project Manager for RLF Architects. She’s a 20-year CRE veteran and currently serves as the 2021 President of AIA Orlando. She’s dedicated to community service, involved in the Hannibal Square Community Land Trust and the Friends of Casa Feliz, and has received multiple awards from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) at the local, state, and national level.
What skills do you believe are key to your success/or what specific skills do you say are key to success in your industry or discipline?
Voice your opinion, come to the table with creative solutions, and be willing to put in the work required to implement your ideas. Also, take on roles even if you lack experience.
What do you consider to be your greatest achievement?
Inspiring others to volunteer and take on leadership roles making positive impacts in the community and the profession.
In one sentence, what would be your advice to young woman entering the professional world?
Become licensed in your profession as quickly as possible, and volunteer with your professional association and community groups whose causes you are passionate about.
