What skills do you believe are key to your success/or what specific skills do you say are key to success in your industry or discipline?
In our industry, those who are most successful are those who constantly learn and look for ways to further develop and improve themselves and their work. When you speak with real estate leaders, many share anecdotes about entering an unfamiliar field or taking on a new assignment where they applied a new approach or strategy that led to success. The takeaway is that it is a skill to constantly look for ways to improve yourself and the way that you do your work, and once you stop, you are no longer working toward success.
What is your favorite quote?
Celebrate what you've accomplished, but raise the bar a little higher each time you succeed. - Mia Hamm
In one sentence, what would be your advice to young woman entering the professional world?
This advice was given to me by an attorney when I started my career, and I have thought about it many times: Invest in yourself and your career, not only financially, but also in terms of your time and energy; you and your career are worth it.
