How has your heritage shaped the person you are today?
My Latin heritage has always had an impact on both my personal and professional development. Latin culture especially has molded my relationship-focused engagement with peers and clients as well as my openness and warmth in meeting someone new. These aspects of my professional self can be easily traced to the way I was raised within the culture. Latin culture is lively, food-centered, and often focused on fostering relationships that provide mutual growth, which are all part of my day-to-day.

Why is Hispanic Heritage Month important to you?
Hispanic Heritage Month is important as it provides a conduit for information and conversations to occur. These conversations often spark curiosity and can often lead to educating individuals who were unaware that Hispanics originate from 21 countries and makeup just over 18% of the US population.
