CREW Orlando seeks to support and sponsor educational enterprises and endeavors for its members; to bring members together for the furthering of educational expertise in the field of commercial real estate on the local, state, national, and international level; and to promote the high standards, professional ethics and integrity of its members and the industry. CREW Orlando is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) organization.
CREWS (Commercial Real Estate Women’s Scholarship)
Since being established in 2020, CREW Orlando has awarded $46,500 to local female college students pursuing a career in commercial real estate. CREW Orlando is excited to continue this program into 2023. The 2023 Scholarships will consist of one (1) or more S.O.A.R. Scholarships (Scholarship of Achievement in Real Estate) in the amount of $5,000, and up to five (5) additional CREWS Scholarships no less than $2,000 for full-time students, and $1,000 for part-time students. If the winners reside in Central Florida, they may also receive a complimentary student membership to CREW Orlando for the remainder of 2023, as well as 2024.
“CREWS” (Commercial Real Estate Women’s Scholarship), an educational scholarship fund, is a 501(c)(3) fund managed by the CREW Network Foundation. The CREWS fund supports the scholarships awarded through CREW Orlando to female full or part time students entering their junior year or senior year, or entering or attending a graduate program at any accredited college or university in the State of Florida recognized by the Florida Department of Education. A portion of the proceeds from CREW Orlando’s Annual Golf Tournament (or other fundraising initiative), open to the public and strongly supported by the commercial real estate industry, will help finance the CREWS scholarship awards.

UCREW University Outreach
CREW Orlando—in partnership with CREW Network Foundation—sponsors UCREW, an annual university outreach program. UCREW’s signature event is a one-half day program designed to introduce college students (men and women) to the variety of opportunities available to them in commercial real estate. During the interactive session, our members work with students on networking fundamentals, offer powerful career resources, and provide relationship building opportunities in career development.

CREW Community Mural Project
CREW Orlando has a history of community outreach projects and endeavors, including the Tower of Light. In 2022, CREW Orlando will be collaborating with the City of Orlando, Orlando Neighborhood Improvement Corporation (ONIC) and local female artists of color to design and paint a mural honoring those who provided their services to the community of Parramore during segregation.

CREW Orlando Scholarship Endowment Fund for Valencia Community College
CREW Orlando awards several college scholarships each year, through its scholarship program with Valencia College Foundation, to qualified students who want to pursue careers in a field relating to commercial real estate. Eligible students attend Valencia College or the “two-plus-two” degree program at University at Central Florida. This scholarship program was started in the early 1990s by CREW Orlando, evidencing our long-term commitment to help deserving students complete a college education. The CREW Orlando Scholarship Fund at Valencia College targets and assists students demonstrating need and a strong desire to begin, continue, or finish their higher education. The Financial Aid Office of Valencia College conducts screening for the recipient(s) of this CREW Scholarship. Selection of scholars or recipients of these scholarships is conducted by the CREW Past Presidents’ Council. Inquiries about this scholarship can be made to either Valencia College Financial Aid Office or to CREW Orlando.
CREW Network Foundation
CREW Network Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CREW Network, is the only charitable foundation solely dedicated to advancing women in the commercial real estate industry. CREW Network Foundation is committed to bringing more women into commercial real estate by offering programs like CREW Careers and UCREW that educate women and girls about the career opportunities in the industry; supporting CRE higher education and training through college scholarships and internships; and providing mentorships to those new to the industry.
