Erik Nelson is a seasoned real estate, corporate finance, and business development professional with over 20 years’ experience in the real estate industry. For the past 12 years, Erik has been with National Retail Properties (NYSE: NNN), a 30+ year old publicly traded real estate investment trust that acquires single tenant, net lease retail real estate subject to long term leases with national and large regional operators. Erik currently serves as Vice President of Acquisitions and during his time at NNN, has overseen the acquisition and disposition of approximately $2 billion of real estate. He is an active member of ICSC, a long serving board member of the non-profit Elevate Orlando and an alumnus of the University of Florida. Erik lives in Orlando with his wife and two children.
