CREW Orlando is excited to announce the 2023 Woman at the Top: Connie Chung!
Connie Chung is an award-winning journalist who shattered barriers in her field. When she became the first woman to co-anchor the CBS Evening News in 1993, Ms. Chung was the first person of Asian descent, and only the second woman ever, to co-anchor any major network’s news program. Ms. Chung’s illustrious career has featured many high-profile interviews, including an exclusive sit-down interview with President Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal. Ms. Chung is the recipient of three Emmy Awards, a George Foster Peabody Award and commendations from American Women in Radio and Television.
